An Overview of our Scanning Process
We will come to your site and do a walkthrough of the building to ensure we know which parts are most important and areas that need to be scanned. Then with the 3D scanning tool, we will scan the building and any other parts previously agreed upon. Depending on the size of the site this can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours for the scanning.
After your replica has been created, we will email a link to the project, free of charge. It is uploaded to the Matterport website which allows you to view it, post a 3D walk through on your website, tag items for educational purposes, and purchase additional 3D assets of the scan. The scan itself can produce a rough floor plan, digital walkthrough, and measurements for the space.
